Overview
Aims and Scope
The British Educational Research Journal is an international peer reviewed medium for the publication of articles of interest to researchers in education. The journal has rapidly become a major focal point for the publication of educational research from throughout the world.
The journal is interdisciplinary in approach, and includes reports of empirical research (quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods), case studies, experiments and surveys, discussions of conceptual and methodological issues, systematic literature reviews and critical analysis of underlying assumptions in educational research.
The journal particularly seeks submissions that extend beyond descriptive analyses of empirical findings and contribute new or in-depth insights to the field. For example, the journal invites forward thinking, theoretically or philosophically informed, and ethically reflective submissions that are accessible to an international and general educational audience.
